We were honored to meet and have the opportunity to design bespoke menswear for ALEXANDER ROMANOV, the rising superstar National Hockey League (NHL) New York Islanders defenseman! Previously playing in the KHL, he was signed to the Montreal Canadiens in 2021, becoming the youngest defenseman in Canadiens history to score a goal in the Stanley Cup Finals.
In the 2022 NHL Entry Draft, Alexander was traded to the New York Islanders. Clutchpoints wrote, “His pairing with (the Islanders’) Ryan Pulock this season has proved to be the team’s best pairing so far. The two have meshed well, as Pulock’s style of play has allowed the 23-year-old Romanov to better follow his instincts on the ice.”

He came to the Mohan’s Custom Tailors showroom for an “ultimate level of bespoke” fitting for 100% custom suits and accessories with our Victor Mohan and Mike Mohan. He selected fabrics, details, styles, and more, and was meticulously measured for our Savile Row-tradition design and handcrafting process. He recently returned to the showroom for a finishing, wherein we paid attention to every measurement to ensure a perfect fit. On his second visit, he gifted us an autographed puck from the special 2023 UBS Islanders 15th Annual Islanders Children’s Foundation Golf Outing (which raised over $600,000) held in September 2023! He also autographed a photo for the storied Mohan’s “Wall of Fame.”
